We charge "no fee" to the company or individual looking to lease space. It is industry custom that the landlord pays the fee. If you go directly to the building, the managing agent will pocket the fee the landlord has budgeted. A note of caution, there are two types of brokers: tenant brokers and landlord/managing agents.
Most major brokerage houses represent the landlord. It is the legal duty of the managing agent of a building to represent the sole interests of the landlord, not the tenant. We are a tenant broker, meaning we represent only your interests.
